About Air Photo Pros
Where it started..
Hi, I'm Jeffery Jones, the Senior Remote Pilot and Principal Officer of Air Photo Pros. Several years ago as a commercial construction superintendent, I began using small drones to take construction progress photos to add to my daily field reports. The response from my superiors was overwhelmingly positive and immediately set me head and shoulders above my contemporaries.
Because I have always had a desire to perform above and beyond the normal expectations of any particular position that I have held, the acknowledgement of my efforts fed that desire so that I continued looking for additional elements to keep my reports refreshing and exciting.
I continue to apply this philosophy to projects that I take on now.
Where it's at..
Having some experience through the years writing, producing, filming and performing in amateur video projects provides additional inspiration to offer optional expanded services to include presentations with theatrical elements.
Also having experience as a published author of short stories, to include self-edited audio versions, I feel that I can also provide value with optional script writing and narration services.
Where It's going..
With a current fleet of two DJI Mavic Air 2 drone airframes and two remote pilots, Air Photo Pros can provide a variety of aerial photographic and videographic services.
Additional airframes with increasing capabilities are under consideration and introduction into our fleet is expected in the near future. Another remote pilot is in training and will be available for independent assignments upon completion and certification.
Although real estate and construction progress presentations are the current backbone of the small drone aerial photography industry, emerging services include power infrastructure and cellular tower inspections, surveying, news-worthy remote video and search and rescue operations.
With ever evolving drone technology providing improved standoff capabilities and continued clarifications of Part 107 regulations, I believe that now is the right time to expand once high-end services to include private non-commercial clients at affordable prices.
